We would like to invite you to join us onboard the luxury Aquastars boat.
You will be collected by the amazing Aquastars team at the Hurghada airport and will be driven 4 hours into the deep south. In Hamata we will board Aquastars luxury boat where you will have a shared twin or bunk cabin.
Even though there are air conditioned cabins, often people prefer to sleep under the stars on deck being lulled to sleep by the waves and counting shooting stars.
In the morning we'll sail 2.5 hours to Sataya dolphin reef, a 10 km stretch of pristine coral reef and home to more than one large pods of spinner dolphins that typically swim past at sunrise and sunset each day and often spend lazy afternoons playing and interacting with us.
We will spend the days moored at different places near Sataya reef, exploring the diverse reefs of the area. The activities and your level of involvement in them will be up to you but primarily we will be there to spend time with the dolphins. The reefs in the area provide an opportunity to see different sharks, turtles, Manta & Eagle Ray and Napoleon Wrasse.
The dolphins are used to human interaction and will most likely allow you to join their pod and invite you to whatever you require that moment.
What if you just have to ask for them to show up?
Being moored at Sataya reef overnight also gives an opportunity to spend time with them without other tour boats being around. This provides a very personal interaction with them.
There will also be an opportunity for the following:
- swimming and snorkelling, organised supported swims or just along the reef
- scuba diving, day and night, as much as you like
- specialist scuba courses
- exchanging Access Consciousness® Bars and Body Processes, SOP, etc
- Access Clearing nights
- snorkelling
- wild swimming
Buffet breakfast, lunch, dinner and soft drinks are provided and your needs can be catered for, whether vegetarian or vegan.
On the afternoon of the day before the safari ends, we will return to the shore and either stay another night at the boat or head to Safaga, 45 km south of Hurghada, or to Hurghada for 1 night so that its easier to catch morning flights or bring you right back to the airport to catch your night flight.
Depending on people's flight times we can go to see Egypt's oldest Mangove tree, or depart the boat or hotel to go to Hurghada for souvenir shopping then to Hurghada airport.

The cost for the 1 week dolphin safari is 3333 Euros.
The cost for the 11 day dolphin safari is 4444 Euros.
The cost for the 2 week dolphin safari is 5000 Euros.

- Scuba equipment hire - 200 Euros per person for the whole trip for full kit hire (wetsuit, mask, snorkel, boots, fins, BCD, regs, weight belt)
flashlight for nightdives 7 Euros per day of the trip or 10 per day you use it. Dive computer 10 Euros a day. You can also buy one at a very good price at the dive center if you like.
- Flights, which you will need to book yourself - only when 10 guests are
confirmed. The cost for return flights is currently at ~ 380 - 1400 Euros including 1 x 23 kg hold bag.
- nights at a hotel (about 35- 120 Euro) if you arrive earlier or later, and maybe extra food & drink at the hotel
- extra sessions with me or another Facilitator on board
- Alcoholic drinks on the boat must be ordered in advance.
- Tips for crew at the end of the trip, it is customary to give 10 % per person, at least 200 Euros per person for the 2 weeks.

Payment terms:
50% to book your space on the yacht. The rest is due 12 weeks prior to the beginning of the safari.
Cancellation fees:
If you have to cancel your booking, you can do so with more than 180 days’ notice before the start of the safari on payment of a cancellation fee of 20 % of the respective total price.
180 to 76 days before with a cancellation fee of 50% of the respective total price.
75 to 61 days before with a cancellation fee of 75% of the respective total price.
60 to 0 days before with a cancellation fee of 100% of the respective total price.
The Aquastars team must so a lot of paperwork and get a lot of permissions in order for you to be out there in the middle of the Red Sea. So for 10% of the total price you can also bring a replacement up to 6 weeks before the safari starts. After that the fee will be as mentioned above.

SAFETY
The entire Dive and Boat Crew are trained to Emergency First Response and all the Dive Guides are Minimum Dive Master. In addition to having all the required safety equipment on board there is a decompression chamber under the Aqua Stars offices in Hurghada (not that we have ever needed it).
